Bill O’Reilly’s misstep on Tuesday in attempting to joke about Maxine Waters’ hair landed him in hot water. He expressed regret for his comments on his own show, “The O’Reilly Factor,” and then continued into a lengthy criticism of Waters’ views. New York Times reports:
“Waters referred to Mr. Trump as “dangerous” in the speech that Mr. O’Reilly mocked that morning on “Fox and Friends,” a claim Mr. O’Reilly found objectionable.
“So what exactly is Maxine Waters talking about when she says Mr. Trump is dangerous for America?” Mr. O’Reilly said. “I have no idea and I don’t think Ms. Waters has any clue either.”
…Mr. O’Reilly went on to say that Ms. Waters’s criticism of Mr. Trump was unpatriotic in itself.”
Maxine Waters, in true o.g. fashion, responded that O’Reilly had no credibility, as he’s being sued by women for harassment.
